The congratulation of heroes of the day took place in NOC of Belarus: the awards of National Olympic Committee were handed to Nikolay Kozeko and Svetlana Paramygina, the press center of NOC reports.

Nikolay Kozeko, Honored trainer of the Republic of Belarus and Svetlana Paramygina, Honoured Master of Sports, silver medalist of the Olympic Games-1994 Biathlon, celebrated their birthday on April 5. The official ceremony of celebration took place on April 6 in the headquarters of NOC, in the framework of the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace.





Maxim Ryzhenkov, first vice-president of National Olympic Committee of Republic of Belarus and Nikolay Ananyev, vice-president, congratulated the heroes of the day and handed them Certificates of honour of NOC of Belarus.
Maxim Ryzhenkov noted that Kozeko and Paramygina's achievements continue to inspire people, making them demonstrate more diligence and persistence.
Alexander Dubkovsky, deputy minister, congratulated the heroes on behalf of the Ministry of Sport and Tourism.
Nikolay Kozeko and Svetlana Paramygina also received congratulations from the team of Belarusian State University of Physical Culture.

Nikolay Kozeko (born April 5, 1950) is Honored trainer of the Republic of Belarus, champion of the USSR in trampolining. He is a freestyle coach whose disciples won six Olympic medals, including three gold ones. Nikolay Kozeko is recognized as the best in the nomination “Trainer of Year” of open public competition “Triumph. To heroes of sport” in 2006-2007 and 2014.
Svetlana Paramygina (born April 5, 1965) is Honoured Master of Sports of the USSR and Republic of Belarus, silver prize-winner of the Olympic Games-1994 on biathlon, three-time world champion, two-time prize-winner of the World Cups, winner of the World Cup 1993/1994, sports journalist.
