Rio 2016. Darya Naumava won silver medal

Today, on August 12, Belarusian weightlifter Darya Naumava (-75kg) won a silver medal, reports the NOC of Belarus

She is the first of the National Team to have taken the medal with a total of 258kg (142kg in jerk and 116 in snatch). Darya won the silver, while the gold one was taken by the North-Korean Rim Jong- sim with total of 274kg (121+153). Spanish Lidia Valentine Peres got third – 257kg (116+141).

“I was ready to show my best result, not win the medal .I’m glad to have delighted Belarusian fans. I thank my coaching staff and family”, said Naumava.
