On 30 August 2018 the Belarusian Sailing Federation held extraordinary election conference.

Newly elected president Sergei Khoretski will be in charge of the Belarusian Sailing Federation, as ex-president Tatiana Drozdovskaya has focused on her sporting career.

Sergei Khoretski is the international-class master of sports in sailing. Between 2002-2004 he double-jobbed as the national team head coach and deputy president of the Belarusian Sailing Union.
