Belarusian athletes won one gold and two silver medals at the European Athletics U23 Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Athletics Federation.

High jumper Dmitri Nabokau claimed gold with the result of 2.24m. Silver medals went to Belarusian sprinters Krystsina Tsimanouskaya (11.54 seconds in 100m event) and Elvira Herman (12.95 seconds in 100m Hurdles).
Germany topped the medal table with 18 (four gold, six silver and eight bronze) medals. The UK and Poland won ten medals each. The next European Athletics U23 Championships will take place in Gavle, Sweden.
