According to the the press-center of the NOC, the second Winter Youth Olympic Games are declared open.

The second Winter Youth Olympic Games kicked off today, February 12, 2016. The Belarusian sports delegation took part in the opening ceremony.

Darina Muravskaya was Belarus' Opening Ceremony flag bearer.

Skiers, speed skaters, a hockey player and an alpine skier will compete on the first day of the Olympics, February 13.
