Yuliya Nestsiarenka has intentions to become a children’s coach, according to her words before the farewell ceremony.

-It is an extremely exciting day. I quit professional sport with peace of mind. This time has come, when I feel placid as an athlete, and I close the door to open a new one. I will work in the name of Belarusian sport, - said Yuliya Nestsiarenka.

She admitted she wants to become a children’s coach in future.
-When I was an athlete, I was visiting events, where I was happy to share my knowledge and experience with kids. I would like to keep on doing it, - according to the Olympic champion. In her opinion, many aspects must overlap in order to prepare a successful athlete. – A child must be the winner by character, preserving, passionate. Support is very important. It is understood that enrolment in schools should be replaced by selection. It is needed to find gifted children and lead them. That is what should be done, - she thinks.

Today the Belarusian Athletics Cup and Throwing Championship kicked off in the territory of the sport complex “Brestskiy”. The opening of the events was marked by Nestsiarenka’s farewell ceremony. The Olympic champion of the Games 2004 in Athens left sport by taking part in a symbolic 100-m distance run. Young Brest’s runners accompanied her on the track.

-That Olympic victory gave impetus to many athletes. They believed in themselves that they could train here and win trophies. We already have sprinters with high results among girls, - underscored Nestsiarenka.
