Yury Shcherbatsevich wins silver at ISSF World Cup in Azerbaijan

Yury Shcherbatsevich of Belarus has placed second at the ISSF World Cup Rifle/Pistol in Gabala, Azerbaijan, BelTA has learned.

The Belarusian had difficulties to qualify to the 50m Rifle Prone Men final, but showed much better results in the deciding stage, 258.9 points. Torben Grimmel of Denmark won the event with 249.8 points.

Bronze went to Lionel Cox of Belgium, 227.9 points.

The ISSF World Cup Rifle/Pistol in Gabala will continue through 14 June.
