Belarus NOC president attends Raubichi 50th anniversary celebrations

President of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Belarus Viktor Lukashenko took part in the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the Raubichi sports complex.

“Raubichi is a forge of victories in winter sports. The complex tracks have trained many generations of famous athletes - winners and medalists of the Olympic Games, world and European championships. Today our coaches, true professionals, continue to train the best of the best to add to the list of our legendary champions,” the head of the NOC said.

He congratulated the Raubichi staff on the anniversary and wished them to remain a united, cohesive team, capable of solving any task.

Viktor Lukashenko presented a Br30,000 certificate to Raubichi director Aleksandr Gagiev to strengthen the infrastructure of the sport complex, and also NOC commendations to the best workers for services to the Olympic movement, mass and high-performance sports in the country.
