The Belarusian women’s volleyball team triumph for a third time in the match with Slovaks of the CEV U18 Volleyball European Championship 2017 in Arnhem, the Netherlands.
The team comprises girls from Brest, Minsk, Grodno and Mogilev volleyball schools. They achieved convincing victory in the game with the Slovak squad with a score of 3:1 (25:20; 20:25; 25:12; 25:15). The second round was victorious for the latter, as the Belarusian playing uneasily in defense. Yet in the next serves Belarus’ blockers Yuliya Minyuk and Yuliya Kislyuk were surpassing their opponents in attack significantly. Vera Kostyuchik of Saratov “Proton” club was recognized as the most effective player (14 points) of the Belarusian team.
The Belarusian women’s team is ranked first in the EuroChamp preliminary stage’s Group II: 1. Belarus – 9points/3 matches. 2. Poland – 6/3. 3. Romania – 5/3. 4. Serbia – 4/3. 5. Slovenia – 3/3. 6. Greece – 0/3.

On April 5 (9.00 p.m.) and April 6 (18.30 p.m.) the Belarusians play with the teams of Romania and Poland, respectively. First- and second-ranked teams from both groups pass to the semifinal of the EuroChamp. Six best teams will take part in the World Championship during August 18-27 in Rosario and Santa-Fe, the Argentine.
