According the NOC Belarus, European Youth Olympic Winter Festival 2015 will open on January 25, 2015 and will be held in the cities of Vorarlberg (Austria) and Liechtenstein (Liechtenstein).
EYOF is the largest multi-sports event in Europe in which 1500 athletes aged from 14 till 18 years participate. In winter 2015 athletes from 45 countries will compete in eight disciplines: Alpine Skiing (Gaschurn & Malbun), Biathlon (Bürserberg), Cross Country Skiing (Steg), Figure Skating (Dornbirn), Ice Hockey (Schruns), Nordic Combined (Tschagguns), Ski Jumping (Tschagguns) and Snowboard (Schruns-Hochjoch).
Twenty-two Belarusian athletes will perform in four sports: Alpine Skiing (3 boys and 1 girl), Biathlon (4 boys and 4 girls), Cross Country Skiing (4 boys and 4 girls), Figure Skating (1 boy and 1 girl). Our team will arrive at the venue of the festival on January 24, at the same time the headquarters of the Belarusian delegation will start its work.

History of the Belarusian delegation performances at the Winter EYOF
In 2001, at the winter festival in Finland in Vuokatti our young athletes competed in: Biathlon, Skiing and Skating. Athletes won three medals (0-1-2).
In the winter of 2005 in Montey (Switzerland) the team of the country presented three sports: Biathlon, Short track and Cross Country Skiing. The result is a bronze medal (0-0-1).
In 2007 in the Spanish town of Jaca at the VIII Olympic Winter Festival Belarusian team won two gold medals (both - biathlete Vladimir Alenishko) and won the team competition (5th place out of 48 countries (2-0-0)).
In 2013 at a festival in Brasov won 1 bronze medal in Biathlon (0-0-1).
In total at winter festivals 7 medals were won (2-1-4).
