Teams of journalists workers to take part in Legends’ Race

The unprecedented start of journalists will take place as a part of Legends’ Race in Raubichi on September 18, 2016.

The programme has extended significantly in comparison with the previous year’s Race. Besides three hits for the biathlon legends, there will be a mixed relay for mass media workers and students of the Olympic reserve centres.

For the moment, the journalists has already applied for participation in the event and started training for it. According to the programme, every team of a male and female must cover two laps with two shooting positions.

Glorious Ole Einar Bjørndalen, the husband of Belarusian biathlon legend Darya Domracheva, has recently held training for the applicants. He has asserted that it’s a useful lesson, which will help the participants to experience the nuances and difficulties of such sport as Biathlon.

The First Vice-President of NOC Belarus Maksim Pyzhenkov has thanked Ole for participation and handed over memory gifts to him.

The NOC Belarus workers as a part of the Belarusian Sports Press Association (BSPA) team are also engaged, including Maksim Ryzhenkov and Nastassia Marynina - the President of BSPA, Member of the AIPS Executive Committee, Head of Marketing and Communications Department of NOC Belarus, the IAF press commissioner.
