The Belarusian track athlete Alina Talay finished second at the European Championships Women's 100 Hurdles Final.

Belarus' leading track athlete Alina Talay clocked 12.68sec at 100m Hurdles. Cindy Roleder (Germany) finished ahead of Talay in 12.62 sec. Tiffany Porter (Great Britain) was one the favorites of the heat, treading on Roleder and Talay's heel, but she finished third (12.76sec).
Alina's teammates Yekaterina Poplavskaya and Elvira German didn't make it into the top 8 of best athletes of the Final heat (13.04sec and 13.18 respectively). Poplavskaya finished thirteenth, German was sixteenth.
In Shot Put Christina Schwanitz got victorious with the result of 20.17m, Belarus' Yulia Leontyuk took fourth place, having put shot at the distance of 18.20m. Alena Dubitskaya was sixth, with 18.03m.
Hammer Throw Men is in the spotlight of Belarusian fans, since one of the most promising athletes Ivan Tikhon participates, warming up for the Olympics Rio 2016.
