Boki won 21 golds and became the most decorated swimmer of the Paralympics from Belarus

Swimmer Ihar Boki won his fifth victory at the Paralympic Games in Paris.

He finished first in the 200m medley with a new world record of 2.02.03.

Second place went to Alex Portal from France, the third - Vladimir Sotnikov from Russia.

Earlier, the Belarusian was first in the 100 metres butterfly and backstroke, 400 metres freestyle, as well as in the fifty-metre crawl. In total, Igor has 21 Paralympic gold medals in his career - five each from London 2012, Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024, as well as six from Rio 2016. In addition, he has one silver medal from the Games and one bronze.

At the moment, neutral athletes from Belarus have six top medals in the French capital. On 3 September, the victory in the 100m backstroke in the S9 class was won by Yahor Shchalkanau.
